The weekly digest tells you what changed. Instant Alerts tell you within 24 hours - and only when it's about a model or endpoint you actually use:

• Deprecation with a date on a model in your stack → alert with the migration path and the deadline in your calendar (ICS).
• Price change that moves your bill → alert with the old→new math per 1M tokens.
• Breaking change in an API or SDK you depend on → alert with the one-line fix.
• Nothing else. No launches, no benchmarks, no news. Silence is the default.

Status - honest version: alerts are in development; the monitoring pipeline already runs (it produces the weekly digest). Joining the founding list is free, requires no card, and locks the founding price when alerts launch. Founding members also vote on which providers get covered first.
